Rules for secondments

The fellows may spend up to 30% of the total fellowship duration on secondments in non-academic institutions if such stays are justified and would positively impact their research. Postdoctoral Fellows (PFs) can choose their secondment host institution from the list of CEIPEX associate partner companies (see below). The minimum duration of the secondments should be 1 month, distinguishing them from short visits, such as participation at conferences. During the secondment, the PFs will continue to receive full support from the CEIPEX programme. If this is to be supplemented from the AP’s side, the exact conditions will be negotiated bilaterally between the AP and the programme coordinator with the participation of all relevant stakeholders (CEITEC PIs & fellows).
